What is GOATRankings ?

GOATRankings is a revolutionary platform that:
  • Ranks UFC fighters using C-ELO™.
  • Predicts UFC fights
  • Offers a state-of-the-art betting model to find value bets.

Navigate between tabs to learn more about the C-ELO™ system, our Prediction model, and our Betting model.

Step 1Understand the two pick types

We generate two types of picks — both fully tracked

Every pick our model produces is logged, graded, and included in our performance record. No cherry-picking, no hidden losses.

★ Kelly picks

The model found a meaningful gap between our win probability and the market price. Edge is confirmed. Stake size is calculated using Kelly Hybrid.

Our primary recommendation.

Confidence picks

The model is highly confident on these fighters, but the market price doesn't offer enough edge to trigger a Kelly bet. Still tracked under our other strategies.

For bettors following flat or model-baseline staking.

Step 2Choose your staking strategy

We track all strategies — here's what each means

Every strategy is tracked separately and transparently. Follow whichever fits your style — but we recommend Kelly Hybrid for long-term bankroll growth.

Bets only when edge is confirmed. Stakes proportionally to edge size using 25% of full Kelly — cautious enough to survive MMA variance, strong enough to compound over time. This is what we believe in long-term.

Step 3Know your exact bet amount — instantly

Every fight page has a built-in bet calculator

You never need to do any math. On each fight's dedicated page, under the Betting tab, you'll find a Bet Simulator — enter your bankroll, and it instantly shows your exact recommended stake, your potential profit, and your total payout if the pick wins.

How it works

1

Open the fight page

Click "Full fight analysis →" on any Kelly pick card to go to that fight's dedicated page.

2

Switch to the Betting tab

The Betting tab shows the full recommendation — edge, EV, confidence, and best odds.

3

Enter your bankroll

Type in or slide to your bankroll. The calculator immediately shows your recommended stake in $ and your expected profit.

💡

Stakes vary per pick — a bigger edge produces a larger Kelly fraction. That variation is intentional: the model sizes your bet to match how strong the opportunity is.

Step 4Get the best odds

Edge disappears if you take bad lines

Each pick card shows the best available odds across bookmakers. Always bet at or above the displayed line — taking worse odds eats directly into your EV.

💡

Bet early when possible. Our model identifies value before the market corrects — 75% of our Kelly picks beat the closing line. Waiting can mean the edge is gone by fight night.

Step 5Judge over months, not nights

UFC volume is low — variance is real

With 10–20 picks per month, a single bad event can tank a month's ROI. That's normal in any low-volume market. Edge only becomes statistically meaningful after ~100 bets — roughly 3–6 months.

What to track

Are you beating the closing line? That's your earliest signal of genuine edge — before ROI has enough data to be meaningful.

What to ignore

Monthly ROI swings. A model with genuine edge will still go cold for 2–3 events in a row. That's variance, not failure.

Verified Betting Model Performance

GOATRankings is not a tipster and not a generic "AI picks" tool. It is a quantitative betting model with fully tracked, continuously updated results.

  • Every prediction is logged and graded.
  • All wins, losses, and returns are included.
  • No cherry-picking. No manual filtering.
  • Results update automatically as new fights are added.

Strategy-Level Performance

Professional sports bettors typically target a 5–10% ROI. Elite betting syndicates achieve around 15–20% over large samples.

GOATRankings exceeds these benchmarks across multiple independent strategies, including flat staking, edge filtering, and Kelly-based risk management.

Loading betting performance…

Performance by Confidence Level

  • High confidence: Highest hit rates, often 70–80%+.
  • Medium confidence: Lower hit rate, but strong ROI due to market mispricing.
  • Low confidence: Underdogs and pick'em fights with the highest upside.

This behavior shows proper probability calibration. The model is conservative, disciplined, and designed to find value — not force wins.

Why This Is Not a Tipster or "AI Picks" Page

  • Tipsters post winners and hide losses.
  • "AI picks" rarely track long-term ROI.
  • Most provide no confidence or staking logic.
  • Many disappear after drawdowns.

GOATRankings tracks every bet, publishes ROI instead of opinions, and separates prediction accuracy from betting edge. This is a model-first system, not guesswork.

How do we identify value bets?

Our betting model does not guess outcomes. It compares our mathematical predictions to real market prices and only acts when the numbers justify it.

💡

How it works

  • What is a value bet? A value bet exists when our model believes a fighter wins more often than the odds suggest. We are not betting on who we think will win — we are betting on mispriced odds.
  • How do you know the odds are wrong? We convert betting odds into implied probabilities and compare them directly to our model's predicted win probability. The difference between the two is the edge.
  • Do you bet every time the model predicts a winner? No. Most predictions are skipped. If the edge is too small, the bet is rejected. Discipline is part of the model.
  • Why do confidence levels matter? The model assigns a confidence level to every prediction. High-confidence fights require a larger edge. Lower-confidence fights can still be valuable if the odds are significantly mispriced.
  • Why do underdogs often perform well? Markets tend to overvalue favorites. When our model disagrees strongly, underdogs often provide better long-term returns, even with lower hit rates.
  • How is this different from tipsters or AI picks? We do not follow trends, narratives, or generated text. Every bet is backed by a real probability model, market comparison, and strict acceptance rules. If the math says no, there is no bet.
  • What happens if odds are missing or unclear? The model skips the fight entirely. No odds means no bet. Transparency matters more than volume.

This approach favors long-term profitability over short-term excitement. Fewer bets, stronger edges, and full accountability.

  • Every prediction is logged and graded.
  • All wins, losses, and returns are included.
  • No cherry-picking. No manual filtering.
  • Results update automatically as new fights are added.

Betting always involves risk. These results reflect historical performance, not guarantees. The goal of this transparency is not to promise outcomes, but to prove process, discipline, and statistical integrity.
